Eleven years ago, the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people initiated a large-scale rally in Akmesdzhit (Simferopol), during which Crimean Tatars, Ukrainians and pro-Ukrainian residents of the peninsula opposed the \u2018\u2019annexation\u2018\u2019 of Crimea to the Russian Federation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Why was this day called the Day of Resistance to the Occupation of Crimea? What results did the rally achieve? And what were the consequences?<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Find answers to these questions in the infographics prepared by the Crimean Tatar Resource Center.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Today, in 2025, the struggle continues. For three years now, Ukraine has been fighting back against the enemy on all fronts, and our resistance is unbreakable. We continue to join forces to liberate every occupied city and village.
