The team of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center handed over the
\nfull-length documentary \u201cWitnesses of the 1944 Genocide\u201d in three
\nlanguages to the Museum of the Occupation of Latvia for their archive.<\/p>\n

We remind you that this film is dedicated to the investigation and
\nrecognition of the deportation of the Crimean Tatar people as an act
\nof genocide.<\/p>\n

Witnesses of this terrible crime in the film tell about the fate of
\nhundreds of thousands of other deported Crimean Tatars. The footage
\npresented in the movie is exclusive. They were filmed during court
\nhearings as part of the investigation into the criminal proceedings on
\nthe genocide of the Crimean Tatar people in 1944.<\/p>\n

Some of the film’s characters are no longer alive, but their testimony
\nwill forever remain legally relevant and will serve as a source of
\nobjective information about the terrible tragedy of the indigenous
\npeople of Crimea.<\/p>\n
