Google Translate users now have access to translation into the Crimean
\nTatar language in Latin script.<\/p>\n

The Crimean Tatar Resource Center is sincerely pleased with this news,
\nbecause the native language is the most precious treasure of the
\npeople. For its part, the CTRC team is making every effort to preserve
\nthe language of the indigenous Crimean Tatar people.<\/p>\n

This activity is especially important in the context of the 10th anniversary of
\nindigenous languages, as well as given the fact that the Crimean Tatar
\nlanguage is on the UNESCO list of endangered languages.
\nSo, how do we contribute to the development and preservation of the
\nCrimean Tatar language?<\/p>\n

Our website is available in Crimean Tatar:\u00a0https:\/\/ctrcenter.org\/qt<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In 2019, the Crimean Tatar Resource Center translated the Universal
\nDeclaration of Human Rights into Crimean Tatar and posted it on the
\nofficial UN website. In 2021, we translated the European Convention on
\nHuman Rights into Crimean Tatar. We also plan to translate Ukrainian
\nlegislation related to Crimea and Crimean Tatars.<\/p>\n

The CTRC is conducting an information campaign dedicated to the
\nrestoration of historical place names in Crimea \u201cLet’s return the
\nnames – let’s return Crimea\u201d, which also contributes to the
\npreservation of the Crimean Tatar language.<\/p>\n

Every week we continue our column \u201cDictionary of the Crimean Tatar
\nLanguage\u201d, in which we teach our readers Crimean Tatar words and
\nphrases.<\/p>\n
