The Russian authorities declare the development of industrial tourism on the occupied peninsula and assure that the number of enterprises involved in this new direction of the Crimean tourism industry is constantly growing. According to the register of the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Russian government of Crimea, there are already 75 industrial and agricultural enterprises that practice industrial tourism.<\/p>\n
The Crimean branch of the international civil society movement for the deoccupation and reintegration of Crimea #Liberate\u0441rimea told Krym.Realii that many enterprises with the potential to develop industrial tourism are not interested in developing it in their country.<\/p>\n
\u2018Until 2014, industrial tourism in Crimea was developing and had great prospects. But then the occupation\u00a0 took place, which marked the beginning of the monopoly of power in Crimea by the \u2018winning team\u2019. After the outbreak of a full-scale war, the power of Aksyonov and Konstantinov was further consolidated, extending their influence to the occupied parts of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions. Today, many Crimean enterprises do not want to develop industrial tourism, as they will be immediately tormented by visits from free \u2018sightseers\u2019 upon a call from \u2018above\u2019. Unfortunately, Crimean enterprises have become hostages of the rigid vertical of power. Many of them have to make monthly payments to the local administration’s \u2018black cash\u2019 in order to continue working. And those who refuse to do so are fired, like Oleg Zubkov and Resul Veliyayev.
