{"id":265029,"date":"2024-10-10T11:12:05","date_gmt":"2024-10-10T08:12:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ctrcenter.org\/eskender-bariiev-held-a-meeting-of-the-public-council-under-the-ssepfc"},"modified":"2024-11-18T17:48:56","modified_gmt":"2024-11-18T15:48:56","slug":"eskender-bariiev-held-a-meeting-of-the-public-council-under-the-ssepfc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ctrcenter.org\/en\/eskender-bariiev-held-a-meeting-of-the-public-council-under-the-ssepfc","title":{"rendered":"Eskender Bariiev held a meeting of the Public Council under the SSEPFC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Tuesday, 8 October, a meeting of the Public Council under the State Service of Ukraine for Ethnic Policy and Freedom of Conscience was held.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting was attended by Vi\u043btor Yelensky\u0448, Chairman of the State Service of Ukraine\u00a0 for Ethnic Policy and Freedom of Conscience, Eskender Bariiev, Chairman of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, member of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Chairman of the Public Council under the State Service of Ukraine\u00a0 for Ethnic Policy and Freedom of Conscience , heads and representatives of structural subdivisions of the\u00a0 State Service of Ukraine\u00a0 for Ethnic Policy and Freedom of Conscience.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ctrcenter.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/photo_2024-10-10-11.08.31.jpeg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Within the framework of this meeting were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Discussed amendments to the Law of Ukraine \u2018On the lease of state and communal property\u2019 on the use of such property by public associations of national minorities and representative bodies of indigenous peoples. During the discussion, they agreed to introduce amendments to the law, in particular regarding the lease, and decided to initiate their further consideration. They also agreed to further discuss the by-laws together with the public council after the adoption of the amendments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on amendments to the list of budget grant providers was considered. It is proposed that the\u00a0\u00a0<b>\u00a0SSEPFC<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0should provide financial support on a competitive basis for organisations of national minorities and representative bodies of indigenous peoples. For this purpose it is necessary to make amendments to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, providing for granting the relevant status of a budget grant provider.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The Public Council was informed by the Chairman of\u00a0\u00a0<b>\u00a0SSEPFC<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0about the beginning of implementation of the Law of Ukraine \u2018On Protection of the Constitutional Order in the sphere of activity of religious organisations\u2019. The Chairman of the\u00a0\u00a0<b>\u00a0SSEPFC<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0spoke about the development of bylaws for the implementation of this law.
