\u2018In Crimea alone, about 900 groups have been formed, involving tens of thousands of children. According to the order, minors can be drawn to combat operations as members of the\u00a0\u00a0“Young Army”\u00a0 against Ukraine\u2019 – this was announced by the Minister of education of russia.<\/p>\n
We shall remind you that the\u00a0“Young Army”\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0was created to spread propaganda among children and teenagers on the territory of Russia and the occupied territories of Ukraine. As part of the movement, children are taught the basics of military training and are also instilled with loyalty to the Russian regime.<\/p>\n The Russian authorities make no secret of the fact that the involvement of minors in such structures can be used in the future to participate in the Russian-Ukrainian war. We stress that this is yet another step towards the militarisation of young people in the occupied territories, which violates the international rights of children.
