On 13 September, the Supreme Court in Moscow left unchanged the sentence for the defendants of the second Bakhchisarai case of the \u2018Hizb ut-Tahrir case\u2019 Ernest Ibragimov and Oleg Fedorov. This was reported by \u2018Crimean Solidarity\u2019 public association.<\/p>\n
Before the court hearing, human rights activists managed to communicate with the defendant in the case of Ernest Ibragimov, who told about the sad conditions of his detention.<\/p>\n
Recall that on 17 February 2021, Russian security forces conducted seven searches in the homes of Crimean Tatars in Belogorsk, Bakhchisarai, Simferopol, Sevastopol and the Soviet district of the occupied Crimea. The detainees are incriminated with Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The Kyiv district \u2018court\u2019 and the Leninsky district \u2018court\u2019 elected a measure of restraint in the form of detention for the detained Crimean Tatars – Ernest Ibragimov, Timur Yalkabov, Azamat Eyupov, Oleg Fedorov, Lenur Seidametov and Yashar Shikhametov.<\/p>\n
