When the gangsterism of the 90s was over, Aksyonov went into legal business and then into politics. In the period of the late noughties all Simferopol was full of his photos from countless billboards and citylights\u2019, &#8211; says a Crimean, whose name for security reasons we do not name.<\/p>\n<p>We would like to remind you that on 6-8 September, the Russian occupiers held illegal \u2018elections\u2019 to fake self-governing bodies in Crimea. The CTRC stresses that these illegal \u2018elections\u2019 are yet another attempt to legalise their presence in the occupied Ukrainian territories.
