The event was attended by the \u2018governor\u2019 of the region, Vladimir Saldo. The opening of the monument was accompanied by statements about the return of \u2018real history\u2019 to Kherson region, with an emphasis on the Russian heritage. The monument has the following inscription: \u2018Do not despair! These formidable storms will turn to the glory of Russia.\u2019<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>2. <strong>Registration of forest fire-fighting equipment of Golopristan Forestry and Hunting Service for Russian licence plates:<\/strong> New forest fire-fighting equipment of \u2018Golopristan Forestry and Hunting Service\u2019 was forced to get Russian licence plates. This is a step in the control of the service&#8217;s activities by the Russian authorities.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>3. <strong>Sending schoolchildren from Kherson region to summer camp in Crimea:<\/strong> Pupils of educational institutions of Kherson region were taken to a children&#8217;s health camp in Bakhchisaray district of the occupied Crimea. From 6 to 26 August, schoolchildren from Genichesk, Chaplynka and Kalanchak districts will spend time with Russian occupiers who will try to brainwash them.<span class=\"im\"><br \/>\nThese events are part of a systematic propaganda campaign aimed at changing the cultural and historical identity of the population of the Kherson region.
