In April-May 2024, the Monitoring Group began manually recording Russian maritime oil exports from the Black and Baltic Sea ports for the first time.<\/p>\n
The volume of Russian maritime exports of crude oil from the Baltic is almost 3 times higher than from the Black Sea, although the ports of the water bodies are equally busy. Not only Russian, but also Kazakh crude oil, which is not under sanctions, is exported from the Black Sea.<\/p>\n
The total monthly exports from these 2 seas are about 15 million tonnes of Russian crude oil and 6-7 million tonnes of oil products.<\/p>\n
