According to the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, at least 8 such torture chambers have been detected:<\/p>\n
– At the beginning of the Russian Federation’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the invaders created a torture chamber in Genichesk, having converted college No. 17 for this purpose.<\/p>\n
– In Nova Kakhovka, the occupants also created a torture chamber in the basement of college No. 14.<\/p>\n
– In April 2022, in Kherson, the occupants created an analogue of the Donetsk prison “Isolation” for tormenting Ukrainians.<\/p>\n
– In January 2023, it became known that Russian occupants set up two torture rooms in one of the villages of the temporarily occupied Skadovsk district.<\/p>\n
– In March 2023, Russian occupants set up a new torture room in the southeastern part of Energodar, Zaporizhzhya region.<\/p>\n
– In June 2023, Russian occupants set up a torture room on the territory of a school in the village of\u00a0Velyki Kopani<\/b>, Kherson region.<\/p>\n
– In April 2024, it became known that Russian invaders set up a torture chamber in the basement of the house of culture in Odradovka village, Novotroitsk community, Kherson region.<\/p>\n
In these places, the Russian occupiers keep the pro-Ukrainian population in inhuman conditions. They interrogate these people, treat them cruelly, and subject them to torture.<\/p>\n
According to the information of the CTRC, the occupants regularly hold “preventive talks”, as was the case, in particular, with the basement of the technical school No. 17 in Genichesk.
