According to the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, 318 political prisoners prosecuted in criminal \u00abcases\u00bb have been registered during the occupation of Crimea , 216 of them are the representatives of the Crimean Tatar people. More detailed information about the Kremlin prisoners can be obtained from the clickable chart \u00abVictims of the occupation of Crimea\u00bb,<\/u><\/a>\u00a0which is updated on a regular basis on the CTRC website.<\/p>\n

According to the CTRC, this category consists of 5 categories depending on the status of the persecuted:<\/p>\n

\u2013 Sentenced and serve terms in colonies (150, 99 are Crimean Tatars);<\/p>\n

\u2013 have restrictions or on probation (36, 21 \u2013 Crimean Tatars);<\/p>\n

\u2013 in pre-trial detention facilities (44, 35 \u2013 Crimean Tatars);<\/p>\n

\u2013 released (55, 34 \u2013 Crimean Tatars);<\/p>\n
