According to the department, Novikov after the start of a special military operation, voluntarily left the territory of Russia, joined the ranks of the Territorial Defense Forces of Ukraine and is still participating in their activities, namely: he underwent military training, participates in hostilities, and is engaged in propaganda work.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">Novikov was also recognized as a so-called foreign agent.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">Now the lawyer has been charged under Part 2 of Art. 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Dissemination of knowingly false information about the Russian Armed Forces).
