According to the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, 307 political prisoners and those prosecuted in criminal cases were recorded during the occupation of Crimea, 206 of them are the representatives of the Crimean Tatar people. More detailed information about Kremlin prisoners can be obtained from the clickable diagram<\/p>\n

“Victims of the occupation of Crimea”, which is updated on a regular basis on the\u00a0CT<\/span>RC website.<\/p>\n

According to the\u00a0CT<\/span>RC, this category consists of 5 components depending on the status of the persecuted:<\/p>\n

– sentenced and serve terms in a colonies (150, 99 – Crimean Tatars);<\/p>\n

– have restrictions or on probation\u00a0 (35, 20 – Crimean Tatars);<\/p>\n

– in detention facilities (35, 26 – Crimean Tatars);<\/p>\n

– released (54, 34 – Crimean Tatars);<\/p>\n

– persecuted (33, 27 – Crimean Tatars).<\/p>\n
