Economic and tourism development in Crimea can contribute to its prosperity and stability. It is important to take into account environmental and cultural peculiarities for a balanced approach to development.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For example, infrastructure projects, support for entrepreneurship, and preservation of natural resources can help create an attractive and sustainable future for Crimea. What kind of future do we think Crimea could have?<\/p>\n

1. Crimea, as a part of Ukraine, is an important region in the system of global relations in the world;<\/p>\n

2. Crimea is the southern gateway of Ukraine, the homeland of the indigenous peoples of Ukraine, a crossroads of cultures and religions, a region of two seas, endless steppes, mountain forests and unique landscapes, has an interesting and rich history, is attractive to tourists, and provides, on the basis of self-sufficient communities, local resources and a balanced economic complex, comfortable and decent living conditions for the multinational population of the peninsula;<\/p>\n

3. In the economic sphere, the agro-industrial complex, tourism and recreation, processing and mining industries, and the maritime sector have been developed;<\/p>\n

4. In the social sphere, a person is in the focus of attention, as well as the quality of his\/her life;<\/p>\n

5. The type of specialization of the economic complex of Crimea in Ukraine is characterized as industrial-agricultural-transportation-recreational with the function of wholesale and retail trade and services;<\/p>\n

6. From the geopolitical point of view, the main wealth of Crimea is its favorable position on the largest trade communications of Europe and Asia (along the lines “Europe-Asia” (analogous to the Great Silk Road) and “Baltic-Black Sea”);\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

7. Renewable energy sources have been developed;\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

8. Recreational economy and sanatorium and medical complex have been developed;<\/p>\n

9. Ethno and green tourism has been developed;\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Indeed, above all, the peninsula’s peculiarity lies in its multiculturalism. Crimea is home to various peoples, including the indigenous peoples of Ukraine – Crimean Tatars, Karaites and Krymchaks. Their authentic culture, traditions, language, and peculiarities are a highlight that Ukraine should use to attract tourists.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It is very important to pay attention to traditional types of farming, such as chair gardening, which is unique to Crimea. Currently, due to the occupation of Crimea and the deployment of military bases, access to forests in Crimea is restricted, which is an obstacle to the preservation and development of such a traditional and unique type of economic activity of the Crimean Tatars as chair gardening. Chair forests are a long historical tradition of Crimea. The formation of such forests is the result of centuries of human influence on mountain vegetation, a kind of breeding work, when those tree species were naturally selected that could adapt to harsh conditions and grow without human intervention, without pruning, watering, loosening and protection from diseases and pests. By 1917, there were 8,000 hectares of chair gardens on the peninsula, and by the beginning of the 21st century, just over 20 hectares had survived. In chair gardens of Alushta, Bakhchisarai, and Bilohirsk forestries, you can find relict 100-120-year-old trees of White Rosemary, Champagne Reneta, and Candilus sinensis.<\/p>\n

It is also important to talk about Crimea as a territory for the development of renewable energy sources. This could be a promising solution given the natural conditions, such as solar energy and wind power. Crimea could be an ideal region for the installation of energy facilities, contributing to environmental sustainability and the development of modern technologies in the energy sector.<\/p>\n

In addition, the development of green tourism and health resorts in Crimea could help create an attractive alternative for those who value nature and wish to maintain their health in harmony with the environment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
