The Ministry of Reintegration reports this.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">This decision is being prepared in pursuance of the Law on the condemnation and prohibition of propaganda of Russian imperial policies in Ukraine and the decolonization of toponymy. Agreement is underway on mechanisms by which they will be able to write toponyms using the Crimean Tatar alphabet based on Latin script. For this purpose, communications are carried out with operators of map services and services that maintain such signs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">Based on the results of the meeting, the National Commission instructed to develop an appropriate decision of the Government, therefore, the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Ministry of Reintegration, the Permanent Representation of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People and the Institute of National Remembrance will work on this issue.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">We remind you<\/span>\u00a0that the Crimean Tatar Resource Center launched an information campaign\u00a0\u00a0<span class=\"xfmc3 xfmc4 xfmc5 xfmc6 xfmc7 xfmc8 xfmc9 xfmc10 xfmc11 xfmc12 xfmc13 xfmc14 xfmc15 xfmc16 xfmc17\"><span class=\"xfmc18 xfmc19 xfmc20 xfmc21 xfmc22 xfmc23 xfmc24 xfmc25 xfmc26 xfmc27 xfmc28 xfmc29 xfmc30 xfmc31 xfmc32 xfmc33 xfmc34 xfmc35\" dir=\"auto\">&#8220;By returning the names we will return Crimea&#8221;<\/span><\/span>\u00a0back in January\u00a0<span data-ukrnet-code=\"2022\">2022<\/span>, aimed at restoring the historical toponyms of the peninsula.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In Crimea, the historical names of cities and towns in the Crimean Tatar language will be returned.
