This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor&#8217;s Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">The verdict was announced against the judges of the Supreme court of Crimea, the chairman and judge of the Simferopol district \u201ccourt\u201d of Crimea, judges of the Yevpator<span lang=\"EN-US\">i<\/span>ia and Feodosi<span lang=\"EN-US\">i<\/span>a city courts, judges of the Dzhanko<span lang=\"EN-US\">i<\/span>\u00a0district court.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">\u201cThe convicts administered justice in the interests of the occupying state, thereby contributing to the formation and strengthening of the occupation authorities on the peninsula\u201d<span lang=\"EN-US\">,-<\/span>\u00a0the ARC Prosecutor\u2019s Office said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">Five of the defendants were sentenced to 12 years in prison, two more to 13, and one received 15 years under Part 1 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason).<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">Now there is no public reaction of the convicted persons in the public domain.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Eight judges who defected to the Russian side after the occupation of Crimea were sentenced.
