His wife Dil<span lang=\"EN-US\">i<\/span>ara reported this to the Crimean Tatar Resource Center.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">\u201cAt the end of last month, an ophthalmologist visited Timur in the colony. Timur was called in for an examination because he has been visually disabled since childhood. Having checked the vision of one eye (the vision was average), they began to check the second eye and Timur said that he could not see with it. The doctor asked, \u201cWhat, he can\u2019t see at all?\u201d \u201cAnd then Timur said that he had an implant!\u201d<span lang=\"EN-US\">,-<\/span>\u00a0she said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">As she explained, the doctor was very surprised and decided to take a closer look, after which he concluded that the implant had been standing for so long that it needed to be replaced.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">\u201cHe also prescribed him all the necessary medications, drops and vitamins. There were no more appointments. It is not yet possible to talk about replacement in such conditions, because it is unknown how all this will happen and under what conditions,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">We remind you that on October 11,\u00a0<span data-ukrnet-code=\"2017\">2017<\/span>, in the city of Bakhchisaray, the occupants carried out mass searches in 6 dwellings of Crimean Tatars &#8211; Marlen Asanov, Seyran Saliiev, Timur Ibrahimov, Memet Belyalov, Ernes Ametov, Server Zakiryaev. Everyone was detained. They were charged under Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation \u201cParticipation in the activities of an organization which, in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation, is recognized as terrorist\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">On May 21,\u00a0<span data-ukrnet-code=\"2018\">2018<\/span>, Russian security forces raided the dwellings of activists of the Crimean Solidarity public association in the occupied Crimea, as a result of which Server Mustafayev and Edem Smailov were detained. They were also accused of their membership in Hizb ut-Tahrir organisation, which is prohibited on the territory of the Russian Federation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">In February\u00a0<span data-ukrnet-code=\"2019\">2019<\/span>, a criminal case was opened against eight individuals involved in the so-called second Bakhchisaray Hizb ut-Tahrir case &#8211; Marlen Asanov, Seyran Saliiev, Timur Ibrahimov, Memet Belyalov, Ernest Ametov, Server Zakiryaev, Server Mustafayev and Edem Smailov (Violent seizure of power or violent retention of power).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">On March 5, it became known that the two defendants in the so-called second Bakhchysarai Hizb ut-Tahrir case &#8211; Timur Ibrahimov and Memet Belyalov &#8211; had their charge tightened from part two of Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code (participation in the activities of a terrorist organization) to the part one (organization of the activities of a terrorist organization).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">On September 16, the Southern District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don announced the verdict to the defendants in the second Bakhchysarai Hizb ut-Tahrir case. Marlen Asanov was sentenced to 19 years in a strict regime colony, Memet Belyalov &#8211; to 18, Timur Ibrahimov &#8211; to 17, Seyran Saliiev &#8211; to 16, Server Mustafayev &#8211; to 14, Server Zakiryaev and Edem Smailov &#8211; to 13.
