On November 18, an informal meeting was held in Kyiv between the Leader of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Dzhemilev and representatives of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people with the delegation of deputies of the Republic of Turkey to the PABSEC.<\/p>\n
The deputies were informed about the situation in occupied Crimea and the situation of the indigenous Crimean Tatar people, who have been living under occupation for almost 10 years. They talked about the main problems and challenges that people face on the territory of the occupied peninsula.<\/p>\n
Head<\/span>\u00a0of the Board of the CT<\/span>RC, member of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Eskender Barii<\/span>ev noted that the parties exchanged information and agreed on further cooperation. Let us note that this year the largest delegation in the PABSEC was the Turkish delegation, represented by 8 people\u2019s representatives of the Republic of Turkey. At the same time, Russian representatives did not participate in the meeting in Kyiv.<\/p>\n Let us recall that on November\u00a016-18<\/span>, the 62nd General Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) took place in Kyiv.<\/p>\n The result of the meeting was the adoption of a declaration in which the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation:<\/p>\n strongly condemned Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, which began in\u00a02014<\/span>\u00a0and expanded to full-scale military aggression and invasion in\u00a02022<\/span>;<\/p>\n expressed solidarity and support for Ukraine in light of the unprovoked, unjustified, large-scale aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, which undermined the goal of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation;<\/p>\n called on the Russian Federation to immediately stop military aggression and withdraw all its military forces from the entire territory of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders;<\/p>\n condemned Russian attacks on Ukrainian ports and grain infrastructure in the Black Sea and Danube and called on Russia to end the threat to global food security;<\/p>\n supported the creation of a special tribunal for the crime of Russian aggression against Ukraine;<\/p>\n decided to create a working group to prepare amendments to the PABSEC Rules of Procedure in order to create an effective and reliable mechanism for reviewing and making decisions on the suspension or expulsion of national delegations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" On November 18, an informal meeting was held in Kyiv between the Leader of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Dzhemilev and representatives of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people with the delegation of deputies of the Republic of Turkey to the PABSEC.
