He was found guilty under articles of repeated discredi<span lang=\"EN-US\">tation<\/span>\u00a0of the Russian army (Part 1 of Article 280.3 of the Criminal Code) and illegal possession of marijuana (Part 1 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code).<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">The case was opened due to a publication on Facebook under the pseudonym Afi<span lang=\"EN-US\">h<\/span>o Baltasar. The man spoke out in support of Ukraine, criticized the Russian military invasion and reposted videos from Ukrainian media. In April, Ser<span lang=\"EN-US\">i<\/span>o<span lang=\"EN-US\">h<\/span>in was fined 40 thousand rubles under an administrative article about discrediting the army. Then a criminal case was opened against him.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">The security forces allegedly found marijuana on him, and another case was opened against him. Before the verdict, the man was in jail.
