And it has nothing to do with the Greeks at all!<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Ye<\/span>vpatori<span lang=\"EN-US\">i<\/span>a is the pseudo-Greek name of the city of Crimea, because it was invented by Catherine II as part of the Greek project in\u00a0<span data-ukrnet-code=\"1784\">1784<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">Moreover, as always, the Russians simply stole this name&#8230;<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">Thus, the city of Kezlev was renamed\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-US\">to Ye<\/span>vpatori<span lang=\"EN-US\">i<\/span>a, which means noble.
