It is very important to use the correct terminology in this matter so as not to incite any hostility within our country.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">For example, in no case should you say we are renaming\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-US\">toponymy<\/span>\u00a0in Crimea. When we use this phrase, we mean colonization. Are we imitating the Russian Federation, which for centuries has tried to take root on Ukrainian lands, destroy the historical toponyms of the area and introduce its own Russian names?<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">No! We are not renaming titles, but returning them. We refuse what is alien and restore historical names.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">In addition, we want to focus on what titles we are returning. It is not entirely correct to talk only about Crimean Tatar names, because we are restoring historical and authentic names, which are Ukrainian.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">We use the correct terminology for the toponymy of Crimea!<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">#decolonization_toponymy_of Crimea<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">The campaign\u00a0 was presented by the\u00a0 Crimean Tatar Resource Center as part of its project implemented under the USAID\/ENGAGE activity, which is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by Pact.
