{"id":240869,"date":"2023-09-14T11:42:32","date_gmt":"2023-09-14T08:42:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ctrcenter.orglaw-on-changing-the-administrative-territorial-structure-of-crimea-what-needs-to-be-improved"},"modified":"2023-09-14T11:42:32","modified_gmt":"2023-09-14T08:42:32","slug":"law-on-changing-the-administrative-territorial-structure-of-crimea-what-needs-to-be-improved","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ctrcenter.org\/en\/law-on-changing-the-administrative-territorial-structure-of-crimea-what-needs-to-be-improved","title":{"rendered":"Law on changing the administrative-territorial structure of Crimea: what needs to be improved?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On Friday, September 8, the\u00a0Head\u00a0of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, member of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Eskender Bariiev, took part in a meeting to discuss the basic level of the administrative-territorial structure of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, initiated by the Ministry of Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We remind you\u00a0that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed the law of Ukraine On amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine regarding the resolution of certain issues of the administrative-territorial structure of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During this meeting, issues related to the implementation of decisions that were adopted on the administrative structure of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea for the period 2016-2020 in accordance with decommunization and the introduction of a new regional division of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, as well as the issue of the number of territorial communities<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Eskender Bariiev noted that in the presented map of ten districts, not all decommunization processes were indicated.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cFor example, when it comes to the Pervomaiske\u00a0district, then Pervomaiske\u00a0is a communist element, because in accordance with the law on decommunization, changes were made and the historical name of\u00a0Dzhurchi was restored\u201d,-\u00a0he explained.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The expert also drew attention to how the clear boundaries of the city of Sevastopol are separated, because the districts and settlements of the Sevastopol City Council are now distributed into different districts, mostly in Bakhchysarai. The question remains open regarding a clear definition of the border of the city of Sevastopol.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cAs for territorial communities, forty territorial communities have now been pre-identified. In my opinion, in this case it was possible to increase the number of territorial communities, but due to the fact that this was a basic, preliminary discussion, we &#8211; Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People and the Crimean Tatar Resource Center &#8211; will work on these proposals and make our own improvements\u201d,-\u00a0he added.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Friday,
