A number of objects, in particular, a building in Simferopol, which belonged to the extremist Mejlis banned in Russia, as well as\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-US\">Ol<\/span>ena Zelenska\u2019s apartment in Yalta, are transferred to the republic\u2019s ownership\u201d<span lang=\"EN-US\">,-<\/span>\u00a0said Sergei Aksenov, the head of the occupied Crimea.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">We remind\u00a0<\/span>that on April 26,\u00a0<span data-ukrnet-code=\"2016\">2016<\/span>, the Supreme Court of Crimea illegally ruled to ban the activities of the representative body of the Crimean Tatars &#8211; Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people. It was recognized as an extremist organization and banned on the territory of the occupied Crimea and the Russian Federation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">For the seventh year now, the C<span lang=\"EN-US\">T<\/span>RC team, together with authoritative international organizations and institutions, has been fighting against the illegal decision of the occupiers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">For its part, the Crimean Tatar Resource Center regularly sends reports and reports to the UN Special Rapporteur on the rights of indigenous peoples, the UN Expert Mechanism on the rights of indigenous peoples, the UN Special Rapporteur on the right to peaceful assembly and freedom of association, in which it points out the illegality of this decision and non-compliance by Russia with the interim decision of the international court.
