On Wednesday, May 17, the Southern District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don announced the verdict on the defendants in the Hizb ut-Tahrir case:\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" name=\"m_-2252713826907226196_m_-1113149682018062044__Hlk135538902\"><\/a><span lang=\"EN-US\">O<\/span>le<span lang=\"EN-US\">ks<\/span>andr S<span lang=\"EN-US\">y<\/span>z<span lang=\"EN-US\">y<\/span>kov, Alim Suf<span lang=\"EN-US\">i<\/span>anov and Seyran Khairetd<span lang=\"EN-US\">y<\/span>nov.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">The occupiers sentenced:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"xfmc2\">Oleksandr Syzykov to 17 years in\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-US\">colony<\/span>\u00a0with the first four years in prison;<\/li>\n<li class=\"xfmc2\">Alim Suf<span lang=\"EN-US\">i<\/span>anov to 12 years in a strict regime colony with the first four years in prison;<\/li>\n<li class=\"xfmc2\">Seyran Kha<span lang=\"EN-US\">i<\/span>retd<span lang=\"EN-US\">y<\/span>nov to 12 years in a strict regime colony with the first four years in prison;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">It should be noted that the accusations in this case are based on the testimony of hidden witnesses and the conclusion of so-called experts who actively cooperate with the Russian security forces. The case was considered in gross violation of international law.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">The Crimean Tatar Resource Center strongly protests and states that this decision is illegal, politically motivated and criminal.
