This was reported to<span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0Crimean Solidarity by lawyer Nazim Sheikhmambetov.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">\u201cAn hour in the deliberation room was enough for the court to weigh all the evidence and analyze the materials of the criminal case, which contain about a hundred volumes\u201d<span lang=\"EN-US\">,-<\/span>\u00a0the lawyer said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">Human rights activist Riza Izetov recalled during the hearing that repressions against the Crimean Tatar people by Russia were in the past and continue today in full force.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">We remind you<\/span>\u00a0that on March 27,\u00a0<span data-ukrnet-code=\"2019\">2019<\/span>, Russian security forces in the occupied Crimea conducted mass searches in 26 houses of Crimean Tatars. Literature was confiscated from some activists, which, according to\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-US\">the\u00a0<\/span>Crimean Solidarity, the security forces themselves planted. In addition to books and brochures, phones, tablets, laptops, and passports were confiscated from people. The security forces behaved rudely. They reportedly used physical force against the detainees. They entered the house with shoes on. Lawyers who arrived at the site of the searches were not allowed to see their clients. According to the results, 20 people were detained, suspected of involvement in the Hizb ut-Tahrir organization banned in the Russian Federation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">On March\u00a0<span data-ukrnet-code=\"2728\">27-28<\/span>, the occupation court arrested all 23 Crimean Tatar activists detained after searches. They chose a measure of restraint in the form of detention until May 15. All are accused of involvement in the Hizb ut-Tahrir organization banned in the Russian Federation.
