Authoritative linguists will work to create an official spelling of the Crimean Tatar language based on the Latin alphabet.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">\u201cThe Crimean Tatar language is a unique cultural heritage that is under the protection of UNESCO. And it is our responsibility to save it. Now we must focus on those areas that give real results. The first priority is to develop a spelling and legal framework for its official approval. This should be a signal to the occupants in Crimea that Ukraine will not allow the disappearance of the Crimean Tatar. We will make every effort to develop it, including through the activities of the National Commission\u201d<span lang=\"EN-US\">,-<\/span>\u00a0said Ir<span lang=\"EN-US\">y<\/span>na Vereshchuk.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">We remind you<\/span>\u00a0that the team of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center is doing everything to preserve and develop the language of the indigenous people of Ukraine. For example, in\u00a0<span data-ukrnet-code=\"2019\">2019<\/span>, the Crimean Tatar Resource Center translated the\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-US\">General<\/span>\u00a0Declaration of Human Rights into the Crimean Tatar language and posted it on the official UN resource. In\u00a0<span data-ukrnet-code=\"2021\">2021<\/span>, the European Convention on Human Rights was translated.
