However, it is worth noting that human rights should be discussed not once a year, but constantly, so that every Ukrainian understands that one must fight for one&#8217;s rights and freedoms.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">It is important to remind all the time that not all countries comply with the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. In particular, after the occupation of Crimea by the Russian Federation in\u00a0<span data-ukrnet-code=\"2014\">2014<\/span>, the situation with human rights on the peninsula is constantly deteriorating. Hundreds of activists have already been subjected to repressions for their civil position. Criminal cases have been initiated, detentions, searches and arrests are systematically carried out, people are forcibly disappearing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">In total, in\u00a0<span data-ukrnet-code=\"20172022\">2017-2022<\/span>,\u00a0<span data-ukrnet-code=\"7911\">7911<\/span>\u00a0violations of fundamental human rights were recorded in the occupied Crimea,\u00a0<span data-ukrnet-code=\"5613\">5613<\/span>\u00a0&#8211; against representatives of the indigenous Crimean Tatar people.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">Moreover, this practice extends to the newly occupied territories of Ukraine &#8211; Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, where the occupants are trying to intimidate people in the same way.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">It is important that all citizens of Ukraine be informed about the situation with human rights violations in the occupied Crimea and understand that the pro-Ukrainian inhabitants of the peninsula are experiencing terrible repressions for their civil position.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">More than 70 boards and citylights were placed in Kyiv, Rivne, Cherkassy, Ivano-Frankivsk, Khmelnitsky, Zaporizhzhia, Lutsk, Chernihiv, Kropyvnytskyi and Kropyvnytskyi regions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">We are grateful to all city councils for their cooperation in placing this burgundy campaign in the above cities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xfmc2\">The posters were developed by the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, activists of the international movement for the de-occupation of Crimea and solidarity with the Crimean Tatar people #LIBERATECRIMEA and Ukrainian artist Andr<span lang=\"EN-US\">ii<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">Ye<\/span>rmolenko.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Crimean Tatar Resource Center continues the information-board campaign throughout Ukraine, dedicated to the International Human Rights Day, traditionally celebrated on December 10th.
