He was sentenced to 8 months of restriction of freedom.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">On August 16, 2021, the final so-called court session in the so-called Hizb ut-Tahrir case was held at the Southern District Military Court of Rostov-on-Don. Lenur Khalilov, Ruslan Mesutov, Ruslan Nagaev, Eldar Kantimirov were sentenced.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ukrainian Kostiantyn Shyrynha to 12 years for allegedly espionage in favor of Kyiv (Article 276 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ihor Schmiedt, who was accused of participating in the Jehovah&#39;s Witnesses religious organization banned in Russia, to 6 years in a penal colony.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">defendants in the so-called third Bakhchysarai Hizb ut-Tahrir case Seytumer Seytumerov to 17 years in a strict regime colony, Osman Seytumerov to 14, Rustem Seitmemetov to 13 and Amet Suleymanov to 12. Political prisoners are forced to serve the first three and a half years in prison.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">By the decisions of the occupation courts, the following were illegally taken into custody:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">activist Nina (Latifa) Malakhova, who was put under house arrest.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Crimean Tatars detained after searches &#8211; Ernest Ibrahimov, Tymur Yalkabov, Azamat Eiupov, Oleh Fedorov, Lenur Seidametov and Yashar Shykhametov.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Vladyslav Yosypenko, who was sentenced to arrest.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">42-year-old Taras Kuzio, who is suspected of financing an extremist organization &#8211; Jehovah&#39;s Witnesses. He was put under house arrest.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Crimean opposition activist Illia Bolshedvorov. He was arrested for 10 days due to the fact that he was filming a solitary picket, which took place on January 22.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">two citizens of the Russian Federation on suspicion of aiding terrorism. They were arrested for two months.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">a resident of Alushta in the occupied Crimea, a citizen of the Russian Federation for calls for extremist activities.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">a citizen of the Russian Federation on charges of alleged treason. The FSB claims that the man purposefully collected and transmitted information about the activities of the Black Sea Fleet to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The so-called Kyiv District Court in the occupied Crimea sent two residents of Armiansk, Oleksandr Lytvyniuk and Oleksandr Dubovenko, under house arrest under Part 1 of Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (for organizing extremist activities).<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Russian security officials have opened criminal cases against two suspects of participation in the Jehovah&#39;s Witnesses religious organization banned in Russia. Petro Zhyltsov was put under house arrest, and Daria Kuzio is under recognizance not to leave.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Five Crimean Tatars: Dzhebbar Bekirov, Zaur Abdullaiev, Rustem Tairov, Raif Fevziiev and Rustem Murasov were sent to a pre-trial detention center.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Crimean Tatars Nariman Dzhelyalov, Asan and Aziz Akhtemov.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Administrative arrests:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the period from 22 to 31 January, the occupants arrested 12 people for participating in a rally in support of Navalny: Viacheslav Nieievin, Oleksandr Krytskyy, Oleksandr Baklytskyy, Illia Zaik, Artem Lukashov, Serhii Lukashov, Anastasiia Lukashenko, Maksym Bychkov, Andrii Kravtsov, Maksym Rozum, Danylo Kovalenko, Tetiana Stepina.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">In March, Illia Bolshedvorov, a Crimean opposition activist, was arrested for 10 days after filming a solitary picket that took place on January 22.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Abdulla Ibrahimov was arrested for three days for posting on the VKontakte social network an image of the symbols of the Hizb ut-Tahrir organization banned in the Russian Federation.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Eldar Odamanov and Shevket Useinov were charged under Article 19.3 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (Disobedience to a lawful order of a police officer or other official) and on September 6, 2021, were sentenced to 14 and 15 days of administrative arrest.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">On September 6, 2021, Eskender Akhtemov was sentenced to 10 days of administrative arrest, and Arsen Akhtemov to 15 days of administrative arrest.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">In November, the so-called court of Crimea ruled that 21 activists, who were detained on November 23 near the TDF building where lawyer Edem Semedliaiev was being held, were placed under administrative arrest.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">On December 7, the term of administrative arrest of the Crimean Solidarity coordinator and public defender Mustafa Seidaliiev ended, but he was not released from the detention center.&nbsp;The activist was again arrested for 10 days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We remind you that the Crimean Tatar Resource Center presented an analysis of human rights violations in the occupied Crimea for 2021. According to the organization, during the reporting period, Russian security forces conducted 53 searches, 366 arrests\/holds, and 366 interrogations, interviews, and conversations. The total number of arrests for 2021 is 210: 25 new arrests, 40 administrative arrests, 118 extensions of detention, 28 sentences. There were 478 cases of violation of the right to a fair trial, 135 to the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health . Also, 37 cases of transfer of political prisoners of Crimea were recorded.
