Korotkykh said that three women were imprisoned in the occupied Crimea for political reasons. They are Halyna Dovhopola, who is accused under the article of espionage, Anna Sukhonosova, who is under the same article, as well as the recent case of Nina Malakhova, who was sentenced to 4.5 years of imprisonment in a general regime colony under the article of assistance in terrorist activities.<\/p>\n

“During the entire period of the occupation of the peninsula, the Russian security forces conducted 18 searches in the houses of women.
