In addition, the expert drew particular attention to the human rights violations in the occupied Crimea. As part of his lecture, the expert showed the short film Crimean Tatars: A Struggle for Survival of the Indigenous People of Crimea prepared by the CTRC, which tells about the events of 2014, about the repressions against the representatives of the indigenous Crimean Tatar people, as well as about human rights violations on the peninsula.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/files\/ck\/image\/quick-folder\/img_8870.jpg\" style=\"text-align: justify; width: 800px; height: 533px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Actor, volunteer, Head of the Mir and Co Foundation Myroslav&nbsp;Hai introduced the activists to the following topics:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Social media and information warfare &#8211; information hygiene.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Working with the media. Work in the frame. Public speaking skills.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/files\/ck\/image\/quick-folder\/img_8768.jpg\" style=\"text-align: justify; width: 800px; height: 533px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Professor Borys Babin told the camp participants about the occupation of Crimea in the context of violations of international law. The speaker explained how the term occupation of Crimea differs from annexation of the peninsula. The expert also spoke about the legal status of the indigenous peoples of Ukraine and the UN human rights mechanisms for the liberation of Crimea.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/files\/ck\/image\/quick-folder\/img_8881.jpg\" style=\"text-align: justify; width: 800px; height: 533px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Andriy&nbsp;Yermolenko, artist, cartoonist, told the activists of the&nbsp;&quot;Freedom&nbsp;Camp&quot; about the role of visual language and design in international public information campaigns&nbsp;online.
