What the Law on Indigenous Peoples gives for Ukraine:<\/p>\n

– a step towards NATO membership:<\/p>\n

Annual national program under the auspices of the NATO-Ukraine Commission – 2021. Objective 1.3.3. provision is made for the creation of conditions for building a harmonious society, taking into account the ethnocultural needs of indigenous peoples and national minorities;<\/p>\n

– a step towards EU membership:<\/p>\n

Clause 60 of the resolution of the European Parliament on the implementation of the Association Agreement with Ukraine noted the need to draw attention to the protection of the Crimean Tatar people, the adoption of legislation on indigenous peoples, the status of the Crimean Tatar people as an indigenous.<\/p>\n

– the beginning of the destruction of the ideology of the Russian world:<\/p>\n

After the adoption of this bill, the ideology of the Russian world is forever destroyed, ethnic Russians in Ukraine are a national minority, like the Greeks, and the Germans and the British, whose rights must be protected by national minorities. Putin will not be able to lay claim to Kyiv and Kyivan Rus.<\/p>\n

– a step towards de-occupation of Crimea:<\/p>\n

Ukraine will assure indigenous peoples that their collective rights, including the right to self-determination, will be exercised exclusively by Ukraine.<\/p>\n

– improving the image of Ukraine as a legal democratic European state:<\/p>\n

Ukraine will become an example for many countries of the world, in which more than 400 million indigenous peoples live.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
