“PACE has just adopted the toughest resolution of all time on the rights of Crimean Tatars in the occupied Crimea. During the discussion at the meeting of the Committee on Equality and Non-Discrimination and directly in the hall, a number of amendments were adopted, which systematically state the political basis of the persecution of Crimean Tatars by the occupation authorities. The change in the tonality of the document is also felt in its title: from Situations with the Crimean Tatars it turned into Violations of human rights committed against the Crimean Tatars in Crimea”,- said Kravchuk.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

This Resolution contains clear signals about the need to observe the rights of Crimean Tatars in the occupied Crimea, and also recognizes that since the beginning of 2014, the temporary occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea by the Russian Federation and the city of Sevastopol (Crimea), which is part of the territory of Ukraine, continues.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
