The resolution calls for:<\/p>\n
abolishment of the illegal annexation of Crimea;<\/p>\n
conduction of a full and transparent investigation into the deaths and disappearances of political activists who criticized the annexation;<\/p>\n
refrainment from pressure and threats to close down independent media and resume the work of the Crimean Tatar TV channel ATR;<\/p>\n
refrainment from persecution and pressure on Crimean Tatar institutions and organizations;<\/p>\n
allowance to the national leader of the Crimean Tatars Mustafa Dzhemilev and the head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov to return to Crimea and allow them to move freely across the administrative border;<\/p>\n
ensurance of the observance of the rights of Crimean Tatars and Ukrainians.<\/p>\n
We remind that on June 10, representatives of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center held an online meeting with the Ukrainian parliamentary delegation to PACE. The participants discussed a number of ideas and initiatives that will be implemented during the PACE summer session.
