Peters, Head of the Representative Office of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Ukraine, who emphasized the importance of this topic on the international plane.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Member of the European Parliament, rapporteur on Ukraine Michael Gahler also noted that the entire international community should unite efforts so that the topic of the occupied Crimea is not forgotten, and most importantly, people who have suffered at the hands of the occupier are not forgotten.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/files\/ck\/image\/quick-folder\/154950268_749144785975829_1747050908591196571_n.jpg\" style=\"text-align: justify; width: 800px; height: 450px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">First Deputy Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Emine Dzheppar, within the framework of the panel discussion, introduced the participants to the Crimean Platform and stressed that one of the main problems of our time is the militarization of Crimea, since this is not a local issue, and it should concern not only Ukraine, but the whole world. She also highlighted the problem of replacing the population of the peninsula.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&ldquo;The goal of the repressive policy is to squeeze out the population loyal to Ukraine, including the Crimean Tatars, and, on the other hand, to form a different ethnic composition of the peninsula, which Russia has been doing for centuries&rdquo;,-&nbsp;Dzheppar&nbsp;said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/files\/ck\/image\/quick-folder\/154699052_255632859337564_2450295049394097605_n.jpg\" style=\"text-align: justify; width: 800px; height: 450px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dr. Miste Hotopp-Riecke, head of the Institute for Caucasian, Tatar and Turkestan Studies, said that the organization Society for the Defense of Oppressed Peoples has been dealing with the problems of the Crimean Tatars since 1969.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&ldquo;We made publications that paid attention to the problems of the indigenous people, at the beginning of 1970 we published magazines about the fate of the Crimean Tatars. A couple of years ago, after the occupation, we also prepared another book. But in this regard, I must say that after the annexation of Crimea, it became difficult to communicate directly with Crimeans and Crimean Tatars&rdquo;,-&nbsp;he added.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/files\/ck\/image\/quick-folder\/155189717_947516232319403_7183875633057872612_n.jpg\" style=\"text-align: justify; width: 800px; height: 450px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The&nbsp;Head of the&nbsp;Board of the CTRC, Eskender Bariiev, gave a full overview of the human rights situation in Crimea in his report. In his speech, he stressed that Russia is trying to present the attempt to annex Crimea as an expression of the will of a certain Crimean people, which does not exist in nature.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&ldquo;There is false propaganda that no blood was shed during the occupation of Crimea by Russia. During the occupation of Crimea by Russia, officers of the Ukrainian armed forces were shot at point-blank range, activists who demonstrated their civil position were kidnapped and brutally killed. Russia is an&nbsp;occupier and poses a threat to all mankind&rdquo;,-&nbsp;he said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/files\/ck\/image\/quick-folder\/153700264_1095234217642284_1121450388576475026_n.jpg\" style=\"text-align: justify; width: 800px; height: 450px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bariiev spoke about the current human rights situation in the occupied Crimea and about the repressions against the indigenous Crimean Tatar people, and also presented the Analysis of Human Rights Violations for 2020 to the Ukrainian and German societies, saying that over the past year record figures were recorded in the number of arrests, detentions, violations of the right to the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/files\/ck\/image\/quick-folder\/154799248_727973008084458_30039788713636477_n.jpg\" style=\"text-align: justify; width: 800px; height: 450px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The attendants&nbsp;were presented&nbsp;with charts&nbsp;Victims of the occupation of Crimea, developed by the CTRC, which are permanently available&nbsp;via&nbsp;the organization&#39;s website in the form of clickable diagrams in 4 languages and reflect the actual number of political prisoners, missing and dead people during the occupation of Crimea.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Speaking about the political prisoners of Crimea, the&nbsp;Chiarman&nbsp;of&nbsp; Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov spoke about communication with the Kremlin hostages themselves and their relatives.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&ldquo;We have no opportunity to influence the fate of those people who are in prisons and against whom repression is carried out. We communicate with political prisoners, their families and try to organize aid, but our possibilities are limited. We cannot stop the main generator, which every day carries out repressions &#8211; the Russian Federation&rdquo;,- he noted.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Chubarov added that the Russian Federation, since 2014, has not reacted to any decision, to any declaration or statement of any international organization. In his opinion, in this case, it is necessary to find more effective solutions that would force the Russian Federation to return to the limits of international law. Because if the Russian Federation is not stopped in its aggression against Ukraine now, then Europe must prepare for aggression against other countries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/files\/ck\/image\/quick-folder\/154657068_458725422149565_8872221934441727311_n.jpg\" style=\"text-align: justify; width: 800px; height: 450px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bariiev summed up that the actions of the Russian Federation are criminal, politically motivated, and grossly violate international law. And the German community must understand what kind of threat Russia poses.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Families and 200 children of political prisoners and missing persons need support, and any reaction of yours inspires hope for the release and return of their parents.
