“In its decision in the case of Ukraine v. Russia (regarding Crimea), the European Court of Human Rights, by a majority vote, declared the complaint partially admissible. The decision will be accompanied by a verdict at a later stage”,- the message said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

According to the document, the ECHR dismissed as unsubstantiated accusations by Ukraine that Russia, after the occupation of Crimea, established administrative practice regarding murders \/ shootings there.<\/p>\n

The court called the following facts of human rights violations in Crimea proven:<\/p>\n

– enforced disappearances;<\/p>\n

– inhuman cruel treatment;<\/p>\n

– illegal detention;<\/p>\n

– extension of the laws of the Russian Federation to Crimea;<\/p>\n

– illegal automatic imposition of Russian passports;<\/p>\n

– arbitrary transfer of the so-called convicts to places of serving sentences in the Russian Federation;<\/p>\n

– persecution and intimidation of religious leaders who do not profess the Russian Orthodox faith;<\/p>\n

– suppression of non-Russian media;<\/p>\n

– prohibition of public gatherings and demonstrations;<\/p>\n

– expropriation of property without compensation from civilians and private enterprises;<\/p>\n

– suppression of the Ukrainian language in schools and the persecution of Ukrainian-speaking children in school;<\/p>\n

– restriction of freedom of movement between Crimea and mainland Ukraine;<\/p>\n
