“According to long-term data on the territory of Crimea, December and January are the months with the highest amount of precipitation of the cold period of the year, but in December of this year, as in previous months, there was a significant shortage of them in the river basins. So, the basins of the Kuchuk-Karasu, Chorna, Salhir received 6.0-9.9 mm of precipitation (12-15% of the norm); the basins of the South Coast of the Crimea – 40.4-50.6 mm of precipitation (42-51% of the norm), and the basins of other rivers – 12.2-19.0 mm of precipitation (24-40% of the norms)”,- the message said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

It is noted that under conditions of precipitation deficit and high air temperatures, the hydrological situation in the river basins did not improve. The autumn low water period turned into winter.
