“A train with conscripts set off from Sevastopol to Rostov-on-Don to the sound of a solemn march performed by the Black Sea Fleet Orchestra. Delivery of conscripts to duty stations by rail became possible with the commissioning of railway traffic across the Crimean bridge”,- the message said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

It is noted that all servicemen are distributed to the training center of the Aerospace Forces of the Russian Federation (RF), deployed in the territory of the Southern Military District.<\/p>\n

Representatives of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center have repeatedly noted on international platforms that the legal status of Crimeans is regulated by the IV Geneva Convention for the Protection of Civilian Population, namely Article 51, which states that the occupying power cannot force Crimeans to serve in its armed or auxiliary forces. Any pressure or propaganda in favor of voluntary admission to the army is prohibited.<\/p>\n

Also, according to article 30 of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, military activities cannot be carried out without the consent of the indigenous people on their territory.<\/p>\n

We demand from Russia to abolish the conscription for military service of citizens living in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, as well as to adhere to its international obligations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
