“The fight for justice in relation to Vedzhiie Kashka continues. Having exhausted all the possibilities within the framework of Russian jurisdiction, the relatives of Vedzhie Kashka turned to the European Court of Human Rights. The complaint was already sent there a couple of weeks ago. We expect the court to communicate. I am convinced, despite all the difficulties, opposition to the Russian repressive system, to all these attempts “not to surrender their own”, those guilty of the death of this heroic woman will find themselves behind bars and the truth will triumph”,- the message said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

We remind that on November 23, 2017, Russian security forces detained a group of activists of the Crimean Tatar national movement – Bekir Dehermendzhi, Asan Chapukh, Ruslan Trubach, Kyazim Amietov and Vedzhie Kashka. The latter became ill, she was called an ambulance. On the way to the hospital, 82-year-old Vedzhie Kashka died. According to the official version of doctors, the cause of death was a heart attack.
