The participants, together with the coach, developed a number of ideas for new posters of the #LIBERATECRIMEA international movement.<\/p>\n

Borys Babin, Doctor of Law, an expert of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, discussed with the activists the practical steps in the policy of non-recognition of the attempt to annex Crimea, and also spoke about the UN human rights mechanisms for the liberation of Crimea and their consequences.<\/p>\n

Svitlana Andrushchenko, Doctor of Science, Associate Professor of the Institute of International Relations of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, delivered a lecture to the activists of the Freedom Camp on the topic “Ukraine in    the world politics.” The participants analyzed the main trends and features of the position of our state in the world arena.<\/p>\n

As part of the event, the participants of the Freedom Camp took part in three events of the international movement #LIBERATECRIMEA – at the Chonhar checkpoint, on the section of the Azov Sea close to the occupied Crimea and on the bank of the Syvash. The events were held on the eve of the State Flag Day and the Independence Day of Ukraine. Depending on the location, the events were dedicated to the need to consolidate the efforts of the international community to de-occupy Crimea and counter Russian aggression, the need to protect marine resources from the aggressor state, as well as to counter oppression of human rights and the rights of indigenous peoples on the peninsula and the need to stop the predatory plunder of natural resources and cultural heritage of Crimea.<\/p>\n

As part of the camp program, the participants were offered a role-playing game “Red and Blue” aimed at identifying a leader, the ability to consistently develop and make a strategically correct team decision.<\/p>\n

The International Summer Camp "Freedom Camp" was organized with the support of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom in Ukraine and Belarus, as well as the "Open Society" Foundation.<\/p>\n

Let us remind you that on August 12, the work of the International Summer Camp "Freedom Camp" began. The event, which takes place in the village of Strilkove, Henichesk district, Kherson region, was attended by activists from different parts of Ukraine.
