“The terrible tragedy that happened to Musa, the son of Ukrainian political prisoner Ruslan Suleimanov, is a consequence of the cynical occupation policy of the Russian Federation, for the seventh year in a row it continues to destroy Ukrainian families. And while this is happening, every such family needs our attention and help”,- the message says.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Denisova noted that according to her information, 188 minor children were left without parental care. Ten wives of Ukrainian political prisoners, raising 12 children of preschool and school age, live in various regions of mainland Ukraine, and 62 women with their children remained in the occupied peninsula. On their shoulders lies not only the heavy burden of the wife of a political prisoner, but also the obligation to raise and protect children alone without a husband.<\/p>\n

\n

“I appeal to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky with a request to do everything possible to release Ukrainian political prisoners and instruct the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to provide their families with adequate social protection. I ask the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska to take each such family under the personal patronage”,- she wrote.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

In addition, Denisova urged each member of the Government of Ukraine to take under the personal care each child who currently lives with his mother in the territory controlled by Ukraine. She also appealed to all international governmental and non-governmental organizations with a request to provide humanitarian aid to the children of the Kremlin captives and to help intensify the struggle on the international arena for the release of their parents.<\/p>\n
