Lawyer Emine Avamileva noted that the political prisoner has a large number of chronic diseases – hypertension, angina pectoris. There is a diagnosis that is incompatible with being in a pre-trial detention center.<\/span><\/p>\n

"<\/span>At the end of last week he was transferred to a common cell. 10 days of quarantine ended. We applied to the chief for a medical examination. The court of first instance did not properly assess the state of health of my client, but referred to hypothetical arguments from the investigation," the lawyer said.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

We remind  that on July 7, Russian security forces conducted mass searches in the houses of the Crimean Tatars in the Bakhchisaray, Krasnogvardeyskoe and Simferopol districts of the occupied Crimea. Seven people were detained. All were taken to the FSB headquarters in Simferopol. On July 7, the Kiev district "court" of Simferopol sent Oleksandr Syzykov , a disabled person of the first group, under house arrest. On July 8, the Kiev district "court" of the occupied Crimea chose a preventive measure for Ismet Ibragimov, Zekirya Muratov, Vadym Bektemyrov , Emil Ziyadinov, Alim Sufyanov and Seyran Khairetdynov in the form of detention.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"

On Tuesday, July 21, the Supreme “court” of the occupied Crimea rejected the lawyer’s appeal against the extension of the detention period for the defendant in the “Hizb ut-Tahrir case” who was detained during the July 7 mass searches.
