It is noted that after the political prisoner was transferred to a psychiatric hospital, they brought him paper in order to express his opinion on the referendum on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation.<\/p>\n

“He wrote that he is a political prisoner, a Crimean Tatar and a citizen of Ukraine. He does not want to participate in any vote, especially in the vote for the amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation. This greatly outraged the staff of the psychiatric hospital. They asked him to rewrite this statement without indicating that he is a political prisoner and a Crimean Tatar, but he categorically refused, claiming that in all the statements from the moment of arrest he indicates this and will indicate it later”,- said lawyer Edem Semedliaiev.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

We remind that on March 11, 2020, Russian security forces raided the homes of Crimean Tatars in Bakhchisaray and the Bakhchisaray district. Searches were carried out in the house of Seytumer Seytumerov, Shukri Seytumerov, Amet Suleymanov, Seydamet Mustafayev, Rustem Seitmemetov, Ayder Suleymanov and Seytumer Seytumerov. The activists were detained. On March 12, the so-called Kyiv District Court of Simferopol sent Amet Suleymanov under house arrest.
