“The pain in the left sternum from the shoulder to the abdomen became frequent and regular from 08:00 to 14:00. If I call the paramedic, – she doesn’t come in time, she only arrives in 7-8 hours, there are no remedies, she doesn’t know how to help. Only standing through the door they measure the boyd temperature, they only check the pressure at the therapist’s appointment, and they don’t prescribe anything new, no cardiograms, no ultrasound, no cardiologist’s consultations. Every 3 months I need to have an ECG, pass blood for biochemistry and general analysis, pass urine, get consultations at a cardiologist for my heart and at a neurologist because of my kidney disease. This is not even planned”,- the letter says.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The political prisoner emphasized that no one provides any medicines, but they don’t even give him the medicines brought by his relatives. He has already requested an appointment with a doctor twice to solve all problems related to his health, but there was no answer.<\/p>\n

“During the pandemic, there are no means of protection (masks and gloves) fo me as an elderly patient with weak immune system. The court sessions are not postponed and I am taken to crowded places with other prisoners, including those who come from other regions of the Russian Federation, which creates a threat of infection”,- he added.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

We remind that on March 27, 2019, Russian security forces in the occupied Crimea carried out mass searches in 26 Crimean Tatars' dwellings. Literature was seized from some activists, which, according to Crimean Solidarity, the security forces planted themselves. In addition to books and brochures, people were confiscated phones, tablets, laptops, passports. The servicemen behaved rudely. It is reported that they used physical force against detainees and entered the houses in shoes. Lawyers who arrived at the site of the searches were not allowed to contact the detainees. According to the results of the searches, 20 people were suspected of involvement in the Hizb ut-Tahrir organization, which is banned in the Russian Federation. On March 28, three more Crimean Tatar activists were detained, in whose dwellings searches were carried out in their absence. On March 27-28, the occupation court arrested all 23 detainees after searches. They chose a preventive measure in the form of detention.
