“On May 16, relatives at a Muslim cemetery discovered broken tombstones. These are about 5-6 tombstones. When they turned to law enforcement agencies, they considered it to be a family affair. Some hostile, even supposedly hostile, relations to each other and that this is in no way inciting ethnic hatred. They simply tried to nullify the matter”,- said lawyer Emine Avamileva.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The lawyer believes that this is a provocation, since broken tombstones were discovered on the eve of the anniversary of the genocide of the Crimean Tatar people.<\/p>\n

We remind that this is not the only case of vandalism in the occupied Crimea. After the occupation, cases of desecration of memorials throughout Crimea dedicated to the deportation of the Crimean Tatar people became more frequent.
