Seytumerov refused to say anything during the&nbsp;session, citing the political motivation for criminal prosecution against him.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&ldquo;He didn&rsquo;t give personal data, answered the questions&nbsp;with&nbsp;&ldquo;yes&rdquo;&nbsp;or&nbsp;&ldquo;no&rdquo;.&nbsp;&ldquo;He chose this kind of protest for himself, expressing distrust of the court, considering the case against him politically motivated&rdquo;,-&nbsp;Semedlyaev said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The lawyer also added that in his appeal he reminded the&nbsp;so-called&nbsp;court about the occupied status of Crimea in accordance with UN Resolutions, which implies, in accordance with the IV Geneva Convention, the operation of Ukrainian legislation on the territory of Crimea.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We remind&nbsp;that on March 11, Russian security officials raided the homes of Crimean Tatars in Bakhchisaray&nbsp;and the Bakhchisaray&nbsp;district.&nbsp;&nbsp;Searches were conducted in the households of Seytumer Seytumerov, Shukri Seitumerov, Amet Suleymanov, Seydamet Mustafayev, Rustem Seitmemetov, and Ayder Suleymanov. Several activists were detained. On March 12, the Kyiv district &ldquo;court&rdquo; of Simferopol sent Amet Suleymanov under the house arrest.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;On March 13, the&nbsp;so-called&nbsp;Kyiv&nbsp;District&nbsp;Court of Simferopol chose a measure of restraint in the&nbsp;so-called&nbsp;third Bakhchisaray Hizb ut-Tahrir case in the form of detention.
