We remind that on October 5, 2016, Russian security forces searched the dwelling of the Crimean Tatar activist Suleyman Kadyrov. Later, the FSB instituted criminal proceedings against him for separatism, and the Russian Financial Monitoring Service listed him as extremist and terrorist. On October 18, 2017, the so-called Office of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol charged Kadyrov with a crime under Part 2 of Art. 280.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Public calls for extremist activities). The activist himself does not admit his guilt. On October 25, the so-called Office of the FSB of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol completed an investigation into the criminal case against Suleyman Kadyrov.<\/p>\n

On March 1, 2018, the so-called Feodosia City Court sentenced the Crimean Tatar activist Suleyman Kadyrov for two years of probation with a ban on engaging in public activities for the same period.
