Thirty-seven people (one in absence) were detained in custody. Besides this, all political prisoners under investigation in the occupied Crimea and on the territory of Russian Federation, were subjects to continuing detention.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Here is the list of people sentenced to a term of imprisonment on criminal &ldquo;charges&rdquo; during the indicated period:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">defendants of &ldquo;Tablighi Jamaat case&rdquo; &ndash; Renat Suleimanov, Talyat Abdurakhmanov, Seyran Mustafayev, and Arsen Kubedinov (one defendant was sentenced to four years of imprisonment, three &ndash; &nbsp;two years and six months on probation);<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Fevzi Sagandzhi (ten and a half years) convicted of &ldquo;participation in the activities of illegal military formation on the territory of Ukraine&rdquo;;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">former Ukrainian military servant, Dmitry Dolgopolov (ten years) and his partner, Anna Sukhonosova (nine years) charged with the disclosure of national secrets;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">defendants of &ldquo;Ukrainian saboteurs case&rdquo; &ndash; Vladimir Dudka and Oleksiy Bessarabov (each fourteen years);<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">16-years old Abduraman Abduveliev (6 months) charged with the desecration of the Russian Federation flag;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">defendants of &ldquo;Vedzhie Kashka case&rdquo; &ndash; Bekir Dehermendzhi, Ruslan Trubach, Kyazim Ametov, and Asan Chapukh (three defendants were sentenced to three years on probation, one &ndash; three years and six months);<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Maksim Sokurenko (six months in colony) for spilling paint on the monument for &ldquo;polite people&rdquo; in the downtown area in Simferopol;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">left activist, Evgeniy Karakashev (six years) for public calls to terrorist activity in VKontacte chat;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Edem Kadyrov (four years) for alleged participation in the voluntary Noman &Ccedil;elebicihan battalion;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Konstantin Davydenko (ten years and five months) for alleged espionage benefitting Kyiv;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">activist, Valeriy Bolshakov (2 years and six months on probation) for&nbsp; alleged public calls to extremist activity in VKontakte post;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">defendants of Simferopol &ldquo;Hizb-ut-Tahrir case&rdquo; &ndash; Teymur Abdullaev, Rustem Ismailov, Uzeir Abdullaev, Aider Saledinov, and Emil Dzhemadinov (from twelve to seventeen years).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>The list of people convicted on the administrative case:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">&ldquo;ex-president&rdquo; of Crimea, Yurii Meshkov (two days) for alleged insubordination to police;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">journalist, Yevhenii Haivoronsky (twice &ndash; twelve and ten days) for an alleged substance misuse without doctor&rsquo;s prescription and for the rejection to do the health screening during the detention;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Crimean Tatar activist, Eskender Mamutov (5 days) for an alleged &ldquo;petty crime&rdquo;;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>The list of people unlawfully arrested by the decision of courts on the occupied territory:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Chairman of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, Mejlis member, Eskender Bariiev (in absence);<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">defendants of Krasnogvardeisk &ldquo;Hizb-ut-Tahrir case&rdquo; &ndash; Eskender Abdulhaniev, Rustem Emiruseinov, and Arsen Abkhairov;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">defendants of the second Simferopol &ldquo;Hizb-ut-Tahrir case&rdquo; &ndash; Tofik Abdulgaziev, Izzet Abdullaev, Vladlen Abdulkadyrov, Medzhit Abdurakhmanov, Belyal Adilov, Enver Ametov, Osman Arifmemetov, Farhod Bazarov, Akim Bekirov, Remzi Bekirov, Servet Gaziev, Dzhemil Gafarov, Riza Izetov, Alim Kerimov, Seyran Murtaza, Yashar Muiedinov, Erfan Osmanov, Seytveli Seytabdiev, Rustem Seythalilov, Ruslan Suleymanov, Shaban Umerov, Rustem Sheyhaliev, Asan Yanikov and Raim Aivazov;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Imam of mosque in Shturmovoe village, Rustem Abilev;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">defendants of the new &ldquo;Hizb-ut-Tahrir case&rdquo; &#8212; Riza Omerov, Enver Omerov, Ayder Dzhepparov, Eskender Suleimanov, Ruslan Nagaev, Eldar Kantemirov, Ruslan Mensutov, and Lenur Khalilov.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Over the course of the first six months of 2019, in the occupied Crimea there were registered seventy-three searches, fifty-five of which were conducted in the houses of the Crimean Tatars.
