FSB officers tried to recruit Crimean Tatar Kurtumer Chalhozov
Crimean Tatar Kurtumer Chalhozov, who was detained on December 14, 2021, said that on that day FSB officers tried to recruit him. This was reported by the Crimean Solidarity public association.
According to Kurtumer himself, he was taken away from his home in handcuffs and opaque glasses and placed in the basement, where he was forced to take a polygraph test. The man was asked about the blowing up of a gas pipeline in the village of Perevalne. After that, they tied the Crimean Tatar to a chair with duct tape and began to threaten him with a criminal case. They wanted to force him to work for the FSB.
“You have 10 minutes, think. Either your life will change for the worse, and you will be incarcerated, or you will work with us and live as you lived before. Everything will be fine”,- Kurtumer said about the threats from the FSB officers.
Chalhozov does not hide the fact that under threat of a criminal case he signed documents on cooperation with the FSB, but he publicly admitted that he does not intend to be an informer.
We remind you that on December 14, 2021, Russian security forces searched the house of the Crimean Tatar Kurtumer Chalhozov in Feodosiia in the so-called case of sabotage of the gas pipeline in the village of Perevalne. The man was held in the police station for many hours, after which he was released.
