The West should not accept any agreements with Putin - Parkhomenko

5 January 2022

Expert of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center Serhii Parkhomenko said on the air of the ATR TV channel that the West should not accept any agreements with Russian President Vladimir Putin, because Putin is a terrorist, a war criminal and there is nothing to talk about with him.

“It is not Russia that has anything to demand from Ukraine and the West. The Russian Federation is not a mediator, but an aggressor, an occupier. It is the West and Ukraine that must demand from the Russian Federation to fulfill the requirements of international agreements and the so-called Minsk memorandum. First of all - the unconditional release of all Crimean prisoners of the Kremlin and other persons deprived of their freedom, in particular - prisoners of war. When the RF fulfills this, then you can move on to the next questions. If it fails, we will have to immediately impose new sanctions. This is how the West should act”,- the expert explained.

Parkhomenko stressed that it will be possible to negotiate something else with the Russian Federation only after the complete de-occupation of Crimea and the Donbas.
